Casablanca - Rabat - Chefchaouen
We start our tour in Casablanca with a visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco. We then drive to Rabat, the capital, to see the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas. After lunch, we proceed north to the stunning blue-washed mountain town of Chefchaouen. Spend the evening walking its charming, peaceful alleys.
Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes
After breakfast, we travel to Volubilis to explore the incredibly preserved ancient Roman ruins and beautiful mosaics. We stop in Meknes, another imperial city, to see the Bab Mansour Gate and Lahdim Square. In the afternoon, we arrive in Fes, Morocco's spiritual and intellectual capital.
Fes Guided Tour - Cedar Forest - Midelt - Merzouga
In the morning, enjoy a guided walking tour of the Fes Medina (Fes el-Bali), a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with spice markets, tanneries, and historic madrasas. Afterward, we drive south through Ifrane and the Cedar Forest of Azrou, stopping to spot wild Barbary macaques. We cross the Middle Atlas to Midelt, and continue to Merzouga, where we take camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset and dinner at our luxury desert camp.
Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley
Wake up early to catch the desert sunrise. After breakfast, we depart the Sahara and drive to Rissani and Erfoud. We proceed to the spectacular Todra Gorges, taking a walk under its vertical rock walls. We then drive through the Valley of the Roses and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to reach Dades Valley for dinner and a restful night.
Dades Valley - Ait Ben Haddou - Marrakech
After breakfast, we visit the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a famous fortified city and backdrop for Hollywood films. We then cross the scenic Tizi n'Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains, enjoying panoramic views, before arriving in the lively city of Marrakech in the late afternoon.
